“A serious contender for the title of Australia’s best chardonnay” Winsor Dobbin | WinsorDobbin.com

Reviewed Wine: Tiers Vineyard 2008 Chardonnay

This has to be a serious contender for the title of Australia’s best chardonnay. Made from fruit grown in veteran winemaker Brian Croser’s family vineyard in the Piccadilly Valley of the Adelaide Hills, this is very much the product of a warm vintage with stone fruit and melon aromas and some distinct ripeness on the palate – but without any excesses. A wine in which fruit and oak are in perfect harmony; this is beautifully textured with immediate appeal.

Don't miss out on the next vintage of Tapanappa Chardonnays again!
