In October, Brian will be hosting an in-depth Chardonnay Masterclass along with Corrina Wright, winemaker of Oliver’s Taranga, looking at this variety in various Australian and International iterations. It’s the variety that really started it all in terms of Brian’s rich vinous journey in the Adelaide Hills.
Brian has selected a lineup of rare and magnificent Chardonnays to tantalise your tastebuds. Starting close to home, you will look at a collection of highly celebrated Chardonnays from a range of sub-regions around the Adelaide Hills. Chatting with Corrina, he will then uncover the history of Chardonnay within Australia, drawing on our pioneering producers. You’ll then finish with a global view of some of their favourite cool climate winemakers.
A glass of DAOSA Blanc de Blancs will greet you on arrival, and delicious paired canapés will be provided throughout the masterclass. It truly is an unmissable evening, filled with incredible insights and some very hard-to-find gems.

Love sparkling? Want to know more about how we make it and why we have coined our own term for Methode Champenoise; Method Classic™? Xavier will host an intimate group around the winery to explain the process of our winemaking and talk about the importance of our Piccadilly Valley fruit and lees ageing.
We will conclude with a tasting which will include some special aged sparkling from our cellar. It will be both fun and educational! There are very limited places, so get in quick for this one.

Celebrate Sparkling Spring with a picnic in the vineyard, perfectly matched to DAOSA sparklings. Pack your picnic blanket, grab a bottle (or magnum!) of sparkling from our cellar door and soak in the view over the Tiers Vineyard. You are welcome to bring your own picnic, or we will be organising pre-booked picnic boxes, so keep an eye out on our socials for a sneak peak of what to find in your box.
Sparkling-focused tastings at the cellar door will also be available all day.
