Well I suppose if you have to have one you might as well have a good one: lovely cork.
Creamy caramel tinged oak and a mix of cherry, plum and raspberry fruit with a slight rosy fragrance. Mid-weight with a pleasing sense of dryness and a subtle minerality that’s often not found in local Pinot. Silky smooth tannin rides with a sidecar of subtle stalkiness. Good length of flavour. Perhaps some young vine dilution, but the overall feel and impression is positive. Took a couple of days to open up and flesh out. Best release to date I?d say.
