This year, we are showing The Secret of Santa Vittoria, a 1969 comedy movie staring Anthony Quinn and Anna Magnani, based on the best-selling 1966 novel.

The story is set during WWII, in the wine-producing village of Santa Vittoria, Italy, when the township embarks on a mission to hide one million bottles of wine from the Germans, led by Mayor Italo Bombolini.

It’s funny and heartwarming, and just like a fine wine, the film has gotten better with age – exactly what we need at this time of the year!
