We are very pleased to announce our 2016 Tiers Vineyard Chardonnay has just been crowned with a Platinum Best in Show award at the Decanter World Wine Awards. This sees it placed in the top 50 wines across the entire global field of 17,000 entries.
This is a wonderful result, and sees it go one better than last years’, which also received a platinum award and took out Best Australian Chardonnay. Being recognised across an international group of peers and by such a high calibre judging panel is acknoweldgment of the distinguished site that is Tiers Vineyard, and the lifetime of work that Brian and Ann have put into it. Tying for top spot with a grand cru Burgundy, and the repeated success, demonstrates where this vineyard sits in a global context.
