Tapanappa Whalebone Vineyard 2006 Cabernet Shiraz

Author: Jeff Collerson
Source: Daily Telegraph
Review Date: Jun 2010

Legendary winemaker Brian Croser who created the Petaluma label, established Tapanappa at Wrattonbully on SA’s Limestone Coast, in 2002. This has a rich mouth-feel with great concentration and depth to the black fruit flavours. Whalebone vineyard is 32 years old and yields a meagre 2.5 tonnes per hectare of fruit – bad for profits but great for quality.

Don't miss out on the next vintage of Tapanappa Chardonnays again!
