Tiers Vineyard Chardonnay 4 Stars – Current Vintage: 2007 – 95 points

Author: Jeremy Oliver
Source: The Australian Wine Annual 2009
Review Date: Jun 2010

Very youthful and gangly, but an excellent chardonnay in the waiting. It’s spicy and floral, with a waxy presence of melon and grapefruit, apple and pear, with undertones of stonefruit, fig and creamy vanilla oak. Long and chalky, it’s austere and slatey, with concentrated fruit and pronounced oak wound up tightly by a briney, mineral and lemon sherbet like finish.

Don't miss out on the next vintage of Tapanappa Chardonnays again!
