From the 50yo Bartholomeus Vineyard, hand-picked, chilled, destemmed and crushed, pressed at 2 degrees C, the free-run and first press juice fermented over a 3 month period – astonishingly long. Quartz-white; it is almost painfully intense and long, and will mature superbly over a long time. The return of some of the stalks to the press may be the cause of the X-factor. 96 Points
