Grape expectations – Tapanappa 2009 Pinot Noir

Author: Kerry Skinner
Source: Illawarra Mercury
Review Date: Jun 2010

Tapanappa is a South Australian-based consortium comprising the legendary Australian winemaker Brian Croser of Petaluma fame and two French partners, including Champagne Bolinger. From the specialy selected Foggy Hil vineyard on the Fleurieu Peninsula, this is perfectly poised pinot with perfumed notes on the nose, sweetish chery and berry fruit flavours, spice and earthy characters, lovely oak and silky tannins. Drink with roast quail.

Don't miss out on the next vintage of Tapanappa Chardonnays again!
