Clear, bloody ruby, with a slowly unfurling nose of red berries, black cherry, strawberry tops, amaro herbals, mahlab, five spice, plum sauce and sweet rooibos tea. In the mouth, you’re met with a core of high-toned red fruit and cherries, slightly bitter plum, blood orange zest, rose and cedar that’s been charged by cool, focused acidity and gripped with fine tannins. It’s beautifully balanced, but tightly coiled, and moves through its arc with speed and elegance to a long, reverberating tail that is just beginning to stretch. A very high definition release of the special Definitus parcel of the Foggy Hill vineyard that reflects the cool and concentrated 23 vintage. I reckon it’s a great look for this 😍 Hold!
