2010 Tiers Chardonnay – lovely length and power

Author: Nick Stock
Source: The Good Wine Guide
Review Date: Nov 2012

This is a forthright and concentrated style of chardonnay, with plenty of sweet oak layered into the mix of yellow stone fruit aromas, some creamy nougat complexity too. The palate delivers restarined fruit that has been lavished with rich, sweet, cedary oak, lovely length and power, taut texture too. Less oak would suffice here.
